Other tuners traditionally will add fueling corrections when the boost pressure goes beyond this ceiling and merely guess at the actual boost pressure and let the turbo pressure control in open loop. Manifold pressure is the most vital part in the ECU's fuel mass calculation and ensures you have proper injector pulse width calculations for your target lambda.
