Our engine tuning strategy has always been for engine safety first, and power second. This has allowed us to maintain vehicle reliability and have the most powerful calibrations on the market proven time and time again in competitive racing series, at the drag strip, and setting world records at Pikes Peak.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOur custom code has allowed us to implement what is called “\u003cstrong\u003eDetonation Defense\u003c\/strong\u003e” which is an engine safety that detects excessive knock events. When knock events beyond a set threshold are met, within 20 milliseconds, the car will automatically be put into map slot 5 for a brief period of 10 seconds. In map slot 5, the car will have reduced power and engine load to prevent damage.
